Even Superman Cries

Missing....one little superman cape. If found please return immediatly!! Superman has been unable to fly for the past 2 days and is driving his mom crazy looking for his cape.

Warning: Suggestions of dishtowels and blankets as capes results in great personal insult and distress to Superman, and will only cause more tears.

HELP!!

Sean really needs to work on his coping skills. Really - he doesn't need to involve Karin in this. I'm sure if he looks in any of his gun safes, or perhaps in the back seat of his car he will find it.

This little post inspires me to sing:

I can’t stand to fly
I’m not that naive
I’m just out to find
The better part of me
I’m more than a bird...I’m more than a plane
More than some pretty face beside a train
It’s not easy to be me

I Wish that I could cry
Fall upon my knees
Find a way to lie
About a home I’ll never see

It may sound absurd...but don’t be naive
Even Heroes have the right to bleed
I may be disturbed...but won’t you concede
Even Heroes have the right to dream
It’s not easy to be me

Up, up and away...away from me
It’s all right...You can all sleep sound tonight
I’m not crazy...or anything…

I can’t stand to fly
I’m not that naive
Men weren’t meant to ride
With clouds between their knees

I’m only a man in a silly red sheet
Digging for kryptonite on this one way street
Only a man in a funny red sheet
Looking for special things inside of me

It’s not easy to be me

Ummm, good luck. I'm glad Abigail isn't the only little kid that is into dressing up. Her only costumes are a dog (or maybe it's a bear?) and a frog (do frogs have spots?). She wore the frog for the first time yesterday and wanted to wear it again today, but it needed to be washed, so we found the dog/bear one to wear instead. She will probably wear one of them again tomorrow too. I wonder what it is about this age that causes them to want to dress up? Must be imagination, at least she isn't barking like a dog, or hopping around like a frog.

Monica,
this is terrible news. I hope that it is found really soon. Tell Ayden we are sorry for his lost and hopefully he will remember what he did with it.

Monica! That was awesome running itno you at south towne today. I started telling Steve a little bit about your old truck and the good times we had bouncing through big gutters and things in it. Haha. Good times. Anyway, check out our blog, it's pretty new still so there's not tons on it yet.

Did you ever find Ayden's cape?! I hope so!

Oh, and thanks for offering your husband's muscle for snow removal; it's very kind. :) We've got it all worked out. My roommate and I actually spent an hour and a half shoveling the nasty snow drifts this morning created by yesterday's mess. It wasn't necessarily fun, but it's good exercise and makes me feel accomplished. Somehow... :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
