Between Ayden and Sean we never know which way were going and where we'll be tomorrow, but we decided this was a great way to keep in touch with those we love!
The other day Ayden and I decided to meet Daddy up at school and have a picnic lunch and play at the park. Ayden had so much fun playing in the leaves that day I couldn't help snap some pictures. Once again I can't pick a favorite so you get a bunch to look at...
6 cups of apples, skinned, cored and thinly sliced 1 T of lemon juice (this is to keep the apples from going brown, but it also gives it a little kick, so I usually use more like 1.5 T) 1 c sugar 3 T flour 1 T cinnamon (I usually throw in a dash more)
Put it in a pie crust, top with crust, and bake in the oven for 45 min. (Don't forget to put foil around the edge of the pie so as to avoid burning it.)

Is that a hole under the tree? Those pictures are way cute. I love them.
Thanks for sharing the pictures. Looks like Ayden is having a blast. I know how he likes the park.
It is a hole under the tree Ayden's little bum fit down there perfect and he just loved that he had a spot built for him.
I love fall and the leaves! Ayden looked like he was having so much fun and I bet your hubby loved having lunch with you guys!
Looks like fun!! I bet he loved every second of it!
That is my grandson, all boy.
DAD
Just think if he had his frog with him. That boy would only need beef to have a perfect world.
Ayden is SO CUTE. Seriously.
And now...the recipe:
